In the Tauride direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed almost 500 Russian invaders over the past 24 hours. This is stated in operational information from the United Press Center of the Tauride Defense Forces on the social network Facebook.
“The total enemy losses amounted to 488 people,” the report says.
It is also said that the total enemy losses in military equipment amounted to 45 units. In particular, we are talking about 4 tanks, 7 armored combat vehicles, 4 artillery systems, 1 LNG (AGS), 25 UAVs, 2 vehicles and 2 other important enemy targets.
At the same time, in the Avdeevka direction, Ukrainian defenders and Defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who is not abandoning attempts to encircle Avdeevka. Ukrainian warriors and warriors steadfastly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. In particular, over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces repulsed 9 enemy attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka, Severny and another 15 attacks near Pervomaisky and Nevelsky, Donetsk region.
In the Maryinsky direction, defense forces continue to contain the enemy in the Maryinka and Novomikhailovka areas of the Donetsk region, where 16 attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
In the Zaporozhye direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 5 enemy attacks near Rabotino and west of Ivovoy, Zaporozhye region.
“In total, in the Tauride direction, the enemy carried out 35 airstrikes, conducted 45 military clashes and carried out 591 artillery shelling,” the report says.
As Brigadier General, Commander of the operational-strategic group of troops "Tavria" Alexander Tarnavsky added in Telegram, for the second day in a row the enemy has been actively carrying out airstrikes in the operational zone of the OSGV "Tavria".
Tarnavsky also spoke about the situation on this section of the front.
“The fields in the Avdeevsky direction are hundreds of units of damaged Russian equipment. We are holding the defense,” Tarnavsky reports.
