The Russians deliberately shoot down missiles over Belgorod, and not outside it, in order to cause more destruction. The city can repeat the fate of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, destroyed by the invaders, says military expert, military pilot-instructor, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan.
“You shoot down these missiles not over Belgorod, but outside the city. Let them pass beyond Belgorod, and then shoot them down, and they won’t fall on Belgorod residents. But what are the Russian military doing? They deliberately shoot down missiles over Belgorod - those that shoot down, after all those that pass through are performing a combat mission,” the expert explained on Channel 24.
According to Svitan, the Russians are trying to create an “icon of the crucified boy” from Belgorod by conducting the so-called “Operation Belgorod Sugar.”
“The Russian military has given up on Belgorod. Most likely, it will face the fate of Marinka or Bakhmut – a “lunar landscape”. Belgorod residents should have left a long time ago, because this will not end well for Belgorod,” the reserve colonel emphasized.
