Military woman about mobilization: “I would like there to be a little more brave people among us”

There is fear in Ukrainian society, which has led to active discussions around mobilization. This opinion was expressed by Elena Ryzh (Ivanenko), a military assault company of the 47th Mechanized Brigade "Magura".
“Now it is no longer fatigue that is walking around in society, but fear. Fear that this will drag on. Fear of misunderstanding. Fear of losing life. Fear of being mobilized. Fear, if a woman, that her husband will be mobilized. There are many of these fears and people do not know how to work with them. They surrender to the flow, like a mountain river, and begin to float. They lose the strength to stop and say: “What am I really afraid of?” If I’m afraid that I’ll go to serve, listen, well, going to serve doesn’t have to be an infantryman and an attack aircraft. Already so many military men are talking about this that even the deaf could already hear it,” she said in an interview with Suspilny.
According to the military, the intensification of discussions on mobilization in Ukraine is connected with fear.
“I would like there to be a little more brave people among us. I am for us, when we wake up, to look in the mirror not only from the point of view: are my eyes swollen from sleep? But to ask ourselves the question: who are you, what are you live, what is happening to you? And they could change themselves. When we hear that the right, the left, the president, the state, deputies, their children, the police are to blame - this is an excuse. Because if you ask these people: “What do you really feel really?”, I’m sure 99.9% are afraid to answer themselves that it’s fear,” explained Elena Ryzh.
The military woman said that there are people who changed their military position after the first battle. They moved on to other positions.
“Do I judge them? No, we cannot control emotions. Sometimes fear is so overwhelming that we cannot cope with it. There are those who say: “I am so afraid that I am not ready to go there anymore.” I have a feeling for such a person respect. I will always hug him. Despite the fact that he is in the rear, and I am in the trenches. And there are people who say, well, they are sending for a meat assault, I am not ready to fight with them! Well, this is not true. Are there any questions for the command? There may be. But that’s not the question. These people are afraid even to admit to themselves that this is happening solely because of their fear. Civilians are now following the same path. They are afraid. And they are afraid to admit to themselves that This is why they find someone to blame,” she concluded.
