The Russian invaders turned the temporarily occupied Melitopol into a continuous testing ground for military technologies.
According to mayor Ivan Fedorov, drones and other enemy equipment are being assembled and tested in Melitopol. The Russians are forcing even children to master drones.
The occupiers set up military training bases around the city. Several times a week, townspeople hear strange explosions and rumbles.
“Melitopol, which before the occupation was famous as the cherry capital of Ukraine, the enemy made it the “capital” of the occupied part of the Zaporozhye region, an administrative and logistics center, a military base, and now also a training ground,” Fedorov was indignant.
