The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a ground-based wheeled drone of the Russian occupiers. This was reported by Brigadier General, Commander of the operational-strategic group of troops "Tavria" Alexander Tarnavsky on Telegram.
“The other day, a unit of one of the brigades of the Tauride Defense Forces destroyed an atypical Russian target - a ground-based wheeled drone, or mining drone. It was discovered by aerial reconnaissance and took off into the air as a result of fire damage. The detonation of explosives from this drone was recorded on video,” - he stated.
The commander also noted that in the Tavria operational zone, over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 19 airstrikes, 6 missile strikes, carried out 38 combat engagements and carried out 788 artillery shellings.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are staunchly holding the defense and carrying out active operations in certain directions.
“The total enemy losses over the past 24 hours are 385 people and 30 units of military equipment, excluding UAVs. Including 4 tanks, 3 armored fighting vehicles, 3 artillery systems, 2 ATGMs, 1 LNG (AGS), 11 vehicles and 6 units of special equipment. Also Ukrainian defense forces destroyed 2 Russian ammunition depots,” Tarnavsky informed.
In addition, he added that the Defense Forces neutralized or destroyed 143 UAVs of various types.
