On the evening of Tuesday, February 20, 2024, Russian occupation forces once again attacked the Donetsk region. Kramatorsk found itself under enemy fire.
This was announced by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration Vadim Filashkin. According to him, two explosions occurred around 20:00. The Russians hit the industrial zone and residential buildings.
“Now we know about three wounded and numerous damaged high-rise buildings. We are establishing the final consequences of the shelling. Once again I appeal to all residents of the region: evacuate in a timely manner! Take care of yourself!” – he wrote.
Updated 00:13: The number of wounded as a result of the Russian strike on Kramatorsk has increased to six. The Donetsk regional prosecutor's office reports this.
“On February 20, 2024, at about 20:00, Russian troops carried out a rocket attack on the city of Kramatorsk. The weapons hit a residential area of the city. As a result of the enemy attack, four employees of a utility company aged 43, 48, 56 and 58 were injured. They were in the workplace," the report says.
A 50-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman who were walking along the street past the building were also injured. There is probably a person under the rubble.
