Russian troops continue to put pressure on the positions of the Defense Forces along the entire front line, the General Staff reports.
Thus, in the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, Russian troops continue to maintain their presence along the border.
“Enemy troops are carrying out explosions to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops under threat of an axe. The enemy is increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region,” the General Staff said in a statement.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian Federation twice stormed Ukrainian positions with the support of aviation - both times were in vain. Near Liman, the enemy attacked 11 times with air support, trying to break through the Ukrainian defense line.
In the Bakhmut area, the Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy attacks. Near Avdeevka - 5. Most of the military clashes occurred in the Novopavlovsk direction - the invaders carried out 25 attacks on Ukrainian positions here with air support.
In the Orekhovsky direction, Russian troops attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 8 times. There were no assaults on Kherson.
“At the same time, Ukrainian fighters continue active actions to inflict losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire front line. On March 21, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out airstrikes on 7 concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, as well as 2 anti-aircraft enemy missile systems. Ukrainian missile forces hit an artillery system and two air defense systems of the Russian invaders," the General Staff report says.
