Over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders have been intensively attacking in the Bakhmut and Avdeevsky directions, according to the Operational Information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the social network Facebook.
“Over the past 24 hours, 115 military clashes took place,” the report says.
According to the General Staff, in general, the enemy launched 5 missile and 47 air strikes, and carried out 90 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
More than 110 settlements of Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions were under artillery fire.
The report says that in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 9 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berestovoye and Novosergievka in the Kharkov region and Stelmakhovka in the Luhansk region.
Also, in the Liman direction, 13 attacks carried out by the enemy with the support of aviation were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Tverdokhlebovo, Nevskoye and Serebryansky forestry in the Lugansk region; Terny, Torskoye and south of Zarechny Donetsk region.
At the same time, in the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 33 attacks in the areas of Belogorivka settlements, Lugansk region; Verkhnekamenskoye, Novy, Ivanovskoye, Klishcheevka, Andreevka, Rozdolovka and Chasov Yar in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation.
In addition, in the Avdeevsky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 24 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Arkhangelskoye, Novokalinovo, Ocheretino, Sokol, Solovyevo, Semenovka, Orlovka and Netaylovo in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to oust our units from their occupied lines.
At the same time, in the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to contain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Konstantinovka, Georgievka and Urozhaynoye in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 20 times to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 7 times in the area of Staromayorsky, Donetsk region and Novodarivka, Zaporozhye region.
The report notes that in the Kherson direction the enemy does not abandon the intention to dislodge Ukrainian units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. So, over the past 24 hours, he made 3 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
