US Preparing New Military Aid Packages for Ukraine, State Department Says

In the coming weeks, the United States of America plans to announce the supply of new arms packages to Ukraine. This was stated by a representative of the US State Department, Matthew Miller.
Support for Kyiv: Announcements and Initiatives
Miller emphasized that the decision to increase the number of personnel in the Ukrainian army lies with Ukraine itself. However, Washington promises to continue to support Kyiv in the field of defense and help develop the economy so that the country can develop sustainably.
“We have already implemented a number of measures in this direction, and I can assure you that there will be even more announcements - they will form part of an additional assistance package,” added the State Department representative.
Promises of the Allies: Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands
In addition, Germany plans to purchase three HIMARS systems from the United States to transfer them to Ukraine. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stressed that the equipment would come from the US military.
Czech President Petr Pavel also confirmed that the first batch of 180 thousand ammunition purchased under the Czech initiative could be delivered to Ukraine as early as June.
In addition to this, Dutch Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren announced the start of deliveries of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. According to her, the first planes could be delivered in the summer.
