Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladislav Seleznev, on the Espresso TV channel, expressed the opinion that Russian troops will launch large-scale attacks on Ukrainian positions within one to two weeks. This is due to the exhaustion of Russia's last reserves.

In his commentary, Seleznev noted that usually offensive operations can take from three to five months. However, given Russia's use of all its resources and strategic reserves, the situation looks different.

He emphasized that at the moment Russia perceives the delay in military assistance from Ukraine’s allies as a window of opportunity and is trying to use it to its full potential. This explains the persistent attacks on Ukrainian positions.

However, the situation is changing as Ukraine begins to receive the first shipments of weapons and ammunition, restoring the balance of power. Seleznev believes that in two weeks Russia will not have such an advantageous position, and it will be forced to suspend active attacks.

Meanwhile, various events are happening at the front. According to Bild, the Ukrainian military managed to stop the advance of Russian troops near Avdiivka. However, General Sergei Melnik reported heavy fighting in the Kharkov region and the movement of Ukrainian troops to more advantageous positions.

The situation at the front remains tense, and both sides continue active operations.
