Irina Friz, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, made a proposal to extend the deadline for updating the credentials of Ukrainian citizens liable for military service. She noted that if the state was unable to properly provide mechanisms for updating data through the Reserve+ application, then measures must be taken to extend the period by 60 days in order to avoid administrative liability for citizens.
Disadvantages of the Reserve+ application
Freeze noted that the Reserve+ app is not perfect and does not provide full functionality for all users. Problems include the inability to log into the application, problems with verification, and incorrect data synchronized from various registries. She emphasized the need to improve the functionality of the application to improve quality and ease of use.
Questions about financing and pricing
The People's Deputy expressed interest in how much the Ministry of Defense spent on developing the Reserve+ application and whether its cost corresponds to market prices for similar services. These issues will be raised at the committee meeting.
Mobile application development
According to the latest data, on May 18, the “Reserve+” mobile application began working in Ukraine to update the credentials of those liable for military service, conscripts and reservists in accordance with the updated law on mobilization.
Data update success
It is noted that about 260 thousand Ukrainians have already updated their data through this application. However, if it is impossible to update data through the application, military personnel are recommended to contact the service center for assistance.
People's Deputy Friz's proposal to extend the deadline for updating the data of those liable for military service indicates the need to improve and improve the Reserve+ mobile application. It calls into question the efficiency and quality of development of this application, as well as transparency in the expenditure of public funds.
