Deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade, Maxim Zhorin, expressed confidence that Russia will not be able to capture Kharkov, and assumptions about the Russian Federation’s goals in this direction are most likely incorrect.
Zhorin also noted that in the direction of Sumy there is an accumulation and overturning of enemy forces, but this is most likely due to the stretching of Ukrainian resources, and not the direct intention of the attack.
He emphasized that the situation at the front remains difficult and suggested that it will not improve in the near future, but, on the contrary, will become even more tense, with heavy fighting ahead.
Stability of positions
The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Dmitry Pletenchuk, emphasized the absence of losses of our positions, answering questions about the “gray zone” in the village of Robotino.
Pletenchuk noted that despite the pressure exerted by the enemy, there were no assaults on Robotino over the past 24 hours, and only limited assault actions were also observed in the villages of Staromayorskoe and Krynki.
