Notification of a person liable for military service by police officers and TCC representatives must be recorded. Illegal actions by law enforcement officers must be reported to 102, 112 or hotlines.
This was stated by the head of the National Police of Ukraine Ivan Vygovsky in an interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency. According to him, before performing duty, representatives of the GUNP must undergo instruction.
“This is provided for by the regulatory framework for police activities. Of course, these algorithms have already been communicated to all personnel and their implementation is monitored daily,” he said.
As Vygovsky noted, in the event of committing illegal actions, police officers bear criminal, administrative, civil, financial or disciplinary liability, depending on each individual case.
“Regarding the recording of communications with citizens, Law No. 3633-IX clearly provides that during the verification of documents, an authorized representative of the TCC and SP or a police officer carries out photo and video recording of the process of presenting and checking documents using technical devices and means of photo and video recording (part sixth article 22 of the Law of Ukraine “On mobilization preparation and mobilization”),” said the head of the National Police.
This procedure is mandatory. In addition to the mechanism for recording the actions of police officers and the TCC, the GUNP has units that constantly monitor personnel regarding possible illegal actions.
