The effect is no longer the same: the Navy assessed what the destruction of the Crimean bridge would give Ukraine

The destruction of the Crimean Bridge now will not have the same effect as it could have done before, since its tactical and strategic importance in the war is decreasing. This was stated by the speaker of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Pletenchuk in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
“It’s no longer the same effect. Because it is almost never used for military logistics. Less than a quarter of the total load is carried by this bridge. The rest goes along the ferry crossing, which was recently hit. Therefore, this bridge no longer has such tactical and strategic importance after those injuries that he received as a result of a joint operation of the SBU and the Navy with a drone attack,” he noted.
According to him, now part of the supply of occupation forces in the South comes from Rostov, but the main route was the ferry crossing to Crimea.
He also commented on the construction of a new railway by the occupiers in the south.
“This is a rock railway, which is being built specifically to support the grouping of invaders in the South. By the end of this year they will try to complete this project - from Rostov along the coast of the Azov Sea to Dzhankoy. Moreover, I am sure that they can complete it,” - says Pletenchuk.
At the same time, he noted that this railway is in the affected area of Ukrainian assets.
He also noted that Ukraine could strike at the launch sites of Russian suicide bombers in occupied Crimea - Cape Chauda. At the same time, the Navy speaker noted, the problem is that all these launchers are mobile, so the difficulty lies in the timely identification of such targets.
If it were a stationary object from which the Russians would launch, then, of course, it would have already been destroyed, he emphasized.
