US elections 2024 in focus. The head of the States, Democrat Joe Biden, and the candidate for the presidency of the country, Republican Donald Trump, held their first televised debate, during which they also spoke about their age.
Biden responded to a question on CNN about voters' concerns about his age. The American leader said that “this guy (Trump - Ed.) is three years younger and much less competent.” “First of all, I’ve been criticized for half my career for being the youngest person in politics... and now I’m the oldest,” said the head of the United States.
Trump said he felt in good shape and talked about his achievements in golf. “I just won two club championships, not even average ones,” the ex-president boasted. The politician added that we are talking about regular club championships.
"To do this, you have to be smart enough, and you have to be able to hit the ball far. He (Biden - Ed.) doesn't do that," Trump argued. Biden, in turn, joked that he would be happy to arrange a driving competition with his opponent.
