Russian occupiers attacked Volnyansk, Zaporozhye region, as a result of which 38 people were injured, including 9 children and a pregnant woman, and 7 people were killed.
Military-political observer Alexander Kovalenko noted that after this, the Russian occupiers published a video of a “effective” strike on Volnyansk with a 9M723 missile from the Iskander-M OTRK and presented this video as an attack on the railway station where trains with Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment were located.
“At the same time, the video itself cuts out the moment when the high-precision 9M723 does not end up in trains with equipment, but clearly in the area of high-rise buildings and retail premises,” the analyst noted.
That is, as Kovalenko noted, “the occupiers tried to pass off the attack on a civilian target as the successful destruction of a train with tanks. Without saying a word about civilian casualties... but simply cutting out this moment.”
“But the main thing, as always, is not even this fact of the hypocrisy of the killers,” the expert noted. He detailed that Volnyansk is located almost 65 km from the battle line. 65 km! But the ballistic missile was aimed by a reconnaissance UAV hovering near a populated area... Everything is as always... the rear zone... a Russian reconnaissance UAV... Ballistics that there is nothing to intercept and victims...", the analyst stated and added, that the fight against 9M723 begins with the fight against UAVs.
