The Netherlands may soon send the first F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, since the necessary license for export has already been received.
Dutch Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren reported this to the House of Representatives, writes De Telegraaf. "The Netherlands is to transfer 24 F-16 fighter jets to the Ukrainians, who desperately need these aircraft to protect against Russian air strikes," the statement said.
Journalists note that the House of Representatives will not disclose the timing of sending American fighters; this remains a secret.
