Ukraine must obtain permission to use American weapons for current military purposes on Russian territory.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee of the House of Representatives, Mike Turner, during a visit to Kyiv. “My position is broader than in the administration. I believe that Ukraine should be able to use the weapons that are provided for actual military purposes,” Ukrinform quotes him as saying.
Turner recalled the words of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that prohibiting strikes on Russia is like forcing Ukraine to “fight with one hand behind its back.” He also believes that such attacks will solve the problem of increasing Russian weapons production.
