Lithuania sent a note of protest to Russia due to the violation of the country's airspace by a Russian plane.

This is stated in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. On the evening of June 30, a Pobeda Airlines plane illegally entered the country’s airspace over the Baltic Sea and stayed there for about one minute. The plane was flying from Moscow's Vnukovo to Khrabrovo airport in the Kaliningrad region.

Representatives of the Russian embassy in Vilnius have already been handed a note of protest. Vilnius demands that Moscow explain itself and take measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
