Two-thirds of Ukrainians surveyed consider it equally important to acquire membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union. This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted in May and released on July 3 by the European Council on Foreign Relations.
In particular, Ukrainians were asked what is more important for the future of Ukraine.
Thus, 12% of respondents chose to join NATO, and 7% - to join the EU. At the same time, 64% consider Ukraine's acquisition of NATO and EU membership to be equally important. Another 15% do not consider any of these options important. And 2% found it difficult to answer.
