The Ukrainian military continues to resolutely fight off the invaders' attempts to break into the depths of our territory. Since the beginning of the day, July 4, 130 combat clashes have taken place on the front line.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this in a summary as of 10:00 p.m. It is noted that the Russian invaders launched one missile strike, 38 airstrikes using 76 anti-aircraft missiles and used 473 kamikaze drones on the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, the enemy carried out more than 2,800 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements using various types of weapons.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out 18 attacks near Sotnytsky Kozachk, Hlyboky, Lyptsy and Vovchansk. Units of the Defense Forces successfully repulsed 14 enemy assaults, four more clashes were ongoing as of 10:00 p.m. The enemy suffered considerable losses - according to preliminary information, 128 occupiers were killed and wounded. One artillery system, two tanks, six BBMs and six vehicles were destroyed, 43 personnel shelters and one ammunition storage place were damaged.
Four times the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian military in the Kupyansk direction in the areas of Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, and Novoselivka. There was no success. In the Lyman direction, the occupiers tried to advance 14 times near Grekivka, Makiivka, and Terni.
On the Siverskyi direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions eight times in the areas of Bilogorivka, Verkhnyokamyansky and Vyimka. In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians carried out 14 assaults in the areas of Kalynyvka, Hryhorivka, and Klishchiivka.
"The situation is tense in the Toretsk direction. The occupiers have unsuccessfully attacked 18 times near Severnoy, Toretsk, and New York. In the Pokrovsky direction, the intensity of hostilities remains high. The number of clashes has increased to 33. The invaders continue to attack the battle formations of the defenders of Ukraine near Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvizhenka, Kalinovy , Progres, Lozuvatsky, Novoselivka Pershoya, Yevgenivka and Yasnobrodivka. Our soldiers repelled 23 enemy attacks, 10 combat clashes are still ongoing," the message says.
The previous losses of the aggressor in the Pokrovsky direction amounted to 234 occupiers killed and wounded. One tank and one armored combat vehicle were also destroyed.
At the same time, 10 combat clashes were recorded in the Kurakhiv direction as of 10:00 p.m. The occupiers unsuccessfully tried to advance in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Nevelske and Paraskoviivka settlements.
In the Vremivsk direction, the Russians stormed seven times the front edge of the Ukrainian defense in the Vodyanny and Makarivka districts. In the Orihiv direction, two enemy attacks took place in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyny. In the Dnieper direction, two attempts by the enemy to capture the positions of our soldiers in the Krynyk area failed.
"Ukrainian defenders are confidently holding back the onslaught of the Russian occupation forces. It is worth noting the soldiers of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade who bravely held their positions, skillfully repelled enemy attacks, effectively used firepower against manpower and equipment, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers," added General Staff
