The Kh-101 missile used by the Russians was programmed to destroy the Okhmatdyt Children's Specialized Hospital in Kyiv.
Radio Liberty writes about this, citing a source in Ukrainian law enforcement agencies. According to him, just before approaching the target, the X-101 missile made a programmed “slide” to increase the angle of attack. “In the video we do not see any smoke or burning of the missile; it is moving along the planned “slide” trajectory in front of the target, which indicates that it was not damaged by air defense systems and hit exactly the target for which it was programmed,” says the source .
The fact that the Russian invaders hit the hospital with the Kh-101 cruise missile is evidenced by the following facts: “The video shows a missile that, in shape and proportions, completely corresponds to a cruise missile. This is also clearly indicated by the presence of two wings, which are located in the lower part body, which corresponds to the design of the Kh-101 rocket. At the rear of the rocket there are three control rudders, which is also typical for the Kh-101 rocket (but the Caliber rocket and all anti-aircraft missiles have four rudders in front of the rudders in the lower part of the rocket body). there is an engine located outside the rocket body from below. This is typical of the X-101 rocket, in which the engine moves out of the rocket body after launch from an aircraft,” experts said.
