The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully used American long-range ATACMS missiles to attack enemy targets in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea.
As John Kirby, National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, said at a briefing, the Ukrainian military has once again proven that it can, with the help of Western support, contain the largest army in Europe.
“Their success is not limited to the front. Ukraine used US-provided ATACMS long-range strike missiles in Crimea, destroying Russian anti-aircraft missile systems, command posts, and airfields,” Kirby emphasized.
According to the US National Security Service coordinator, Ukrainian defenders sank a ship in the Sevastopol port with cruise missiles, and the Russian Black Sea Fleet was forced to abandon the captured peninsula.
