Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, who is accused of attempted murder of Donald Trump, worked at a nursing home.
According to CNN, investigators have not yet found anything on the young man’s social networks that indicates a motive. Now the Federal Bureau of Investigation is trying to gain access to his phone.
According to reporters, Crooks lived in Bethel Park, about 35 miles south of the site where the former President of the United States of America held a rally. He graduated from high school in 2022 and was bullied in high school because he didn't fit in.
It is known that the shooter worked as a nutritionist's assistant at the Bethel Park Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. One of the nurses told reporters that the place had been searched.
Crooks was registered as a Republican but had previously made small contributions to a Democratic-leaning group. He has voted only once, in the 2022 midterm general election. The 2024 presidential election was supposed to be his first.
It was possible to establish his identity using the found AR rifle, which could have belonged to the guy’s father. He had no documents with him. The guy's parents were social workers. Crooks' father initially told reporters he was trying to get to the bottom of what was happening. Later they were unable to contact him.
