Will the number of checkpoints increase after July 16: response from the Ministry of Defense

Currently, the Ministry of Defense does not announce an increase in the number of checkpoints after the deadline for updating credentials.
Representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Dmitry Lazutkin answered the question on air of the information telethon whether this should be expected from today. “Regarding the increase in checkpoints, we do not have such information yet,” he said.
Lazutkin noted that the “unfortunate and sometimes unpleasant” story of checkpoints and detentions for citizens arose due to the fact that people did not update their military registration data.
The speaker also said that 65 thousand Ukrainians who are abroad have already updated their data. “Among the leaders are Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Canada. In general, people all over the world were very active in doing this using the Reserve+ application,” he noted.
