War in Ukraine may end in diplomacy, - Zelensky

Last month, the Global Peace Summit on the war in Ukraine took place in Switzerland. President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia, which was not invited to the first event, should take part in the second summit. It is tentatively scheduled for November.
In an interview with the BBC, the head of state said the whole world would have to put pressure on Moscow to convince it to sit down at the negotiating table and consider ending the war.
“This does not mean that all territories are conquered by force. I think that the power of diplomacy can help,” Zelensky said.
According to the president, the weaker Russia is on the battlefield, the stronger Ukraine will become at the negotiating table.
“By putting pressure on Russia, I believe that we can agree to a diplomatic settlement,” he said.
