UK will expand military production to help Ukraine

The heads of British arms companies BAE Systems and Babcock International Group met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to discuss increasing military support for Kyiv.
At the meeting with Zelensky in London there were also representatives of Thales, MBDA and KBR, British Defense Minister John Healey and Foreign Trade Minister Jonathan Reynolds, writes Reuters.
"The government will continue to work in tandem with industry and has noted the need to increase production of vital military equipment for both Ukraine and the British armed forces," Healy said.
Babcock, which provides services in the field of aerospace, defense and nuclear engineering, will extend its contract with the ministry for the maintenance and repair of military equipment for six months, the British Ministry of Defense said.
