After a certain break, two carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were simultaneously detected in the Black Sea. Speaker of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Dmitry Pletenchuk spoke about the presence of Russian Black Sea Fleet ships in the waters in a telethon.
“We are now seeing two carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles. The total salvo is up to 12 units. Usually in the Black Sea this is one of the main threats,” the speaker said.
He added that the enemy keeps aviation on constant duty.
“Aviation is present there 24/7 (around the clock). They use it both to protect the water area, for anti-drone warfare, and to inflict combat damage. Therefore, this danger also makes itself felt from time to time,” Pletenchuk added.
According to him, there is also a Russian fleet in Azov - four units. The military man clarified that these are usually minesweepers or missile boats without Calibers.
In the Mediterranean Sea, according to the Ukrainian Navy, there is one Russian ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles.
