Kuleba held talks with the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry: key results

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba held three-hour talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi. The Chinese representative agreed that Ukraine does not need the illusion of peace, but a fair and sustainable peace.
"What is fundamentally important? China has unshakably confirmed its respect for the principle of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. This is very important. This removes a whole series of insinuations. Second. My Chinese colleague clearly said that he agrees that what is needed is not the illusion of peace, but a fair and sustainable peace,” Kuleba said in a video message.
According to him, he also informed his Chinese colleague in detail about the Peace Formula and the results of the Peace Summit, as well as about Ukraine’s further steps.
“I explained using the example of history, using the example of today’s events, that Ukraine did not bend under any of Putin’s ultimatums, under Putin’s terrible military blow. And Ukraine will never bend a single centimeter if anyone in the world, regardless of what part of the world , will try to speak to us in the language of ultimatums. This is simply impossible,” Kuleba emphasized.
The Foreign Minister also noted that during the negotiations he focused on two principles that must be strictly observed. The first is no agreement on Ukraine without Ukraine. The second is about full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“If these two principles are respected, we can have any conversations and look for any solutions,” he explained.
Kuleba added that China can be felt to develop bilateral relations with Ukraine.
"We continue to talk to China, we continue to work with all the countries that took part in the Peace Summit, that supported the joint communiqué, and that are still considering joining the joint communiqué. We continue to work. [...] Putin will never be able to steal our the future. The only thing he is desperately trying to steal is our time. Time for a peaceful life. But we will not allow him to do that,” the minister emphasized.
