Hungary has once again caused discontent in the European Union by allowing citizens of Russia and Belarus to enter the EU without security checks.
According to the German publication RND, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is becoming a security threat, since Russian spies and terrorists may be among the foreigners who have arrived in the territory of the European Union.
"For several days now, Russians have been able to freely enter the EU through Hungary without any checks and move to other EU countries. This became possible thanks to registration in Hungary as migrant workers, which Prime Minister Viktor Orban extended to people from Russia and Belarus in July," the journalists note.
EU foreign policy expert and member of the European Parliament Sergei Lagodinsky believes that it is wrong to allow entry without security checks in conditions when the Russian government is trying to weaken Europe with the help of hybrid attacks.
