The Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine approved the Regulation on the Council for monitoring the restoration of destroyed (damaged) buildings of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdet" - the Council for the Restoration of "Okhmatdet".

As noted in the message on the Ministry of Health's Facebook page, this Council will ensure public control over all restoration processes.

In particular, this concerns transparency and integrity in choosing a contractor to carry out current repairs and interior decoration of the building of the modern medical and diagnostic complex of the hospital.

Thus, the Council will consist of 15 people, and its composition will be approved in two stages. At the first stage, the Council will include representatives of: benefactors who made the largest donations and the organizers of the collection (six people); the Ministry of Health (one person); "Okhmatdet" (one person).

The second stage will include the selection of seven representatives of public associations and charitable organizations working in the areas of corruption prevention, patient rights protection and healthcare development.

"Representatives of public organizations will be selected by the personal composition of the Restoration Council based on the results of application review and rating voting," the Ministry noted.

It is also noted that the announcement of the acceptance of applications will be published on the Ministry of Health website. The criteria for selecting candidates and the procedure for submitting applications can be found in the Regulation.

"Initially, representatives of philanthropists will be invited to join the Council, taking into account the amount of the contribution for the purposes of restoration and restoration of Okhmatdet and participation in organizing the collection of charitable funds," the Ministry of Health added.
