Russian troops have made minor advances in the north of Kharkiv Oblast, as well as near Pokrovsk.
As reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), geolocated footage published on August 13 shows that Russian troops have advanced near the eastern shore of the Travyanskoye Reservoir west of Glubokoe (north of Kharkiv). Additional geolocated footage published on August 14 shows that Russian troops have also advanced south along the windbreak in the field southeast of Lukyantsy (southeast of Glubokoe).
At the same time, in Donbas, Russians continue to press on Pokrovsk and Chasov Yar. In particular, assault operations continued: near Chasov Yar; north of Chasov Yar near Belaya Gora; east of Chasovy Yar near Ivanovskoye; and southeast of Chasovy Yar near Andreyevka, but no confirmed frontal changes were made.
Russian forces continued ground attacks near Toretsk; east of Toretsk near Severny; southeast of Toretsk near Zhelezny; south of Toretsk near New York; and southwest of Toretsk near Sukha Balka, but made no confirmed advances.
At the same time, analysts confirmed enemy advances in the Pokrovsk direction. Geolocation footage released on August 13 and 14 shows Russian forces advancing in the fields north of Novoselovka Pervaya and northwest of Zhelanny (both southeast of Pokrovsk), respectively.
Russian forces continued attacks:
- northeast of Pokrovsk near Malinovka;
- to the east of Pokrovsk near Vozdvizhenka, Novoaleksandrovka, Zelenoe Pole, Yelizavetovka;
- to the southeast of Pokrovsk near Kalinovoye, Vodyanoye, Skuchnoye, Karlovka, Ptichye.
Ground attacks also continued to the west of Donetsk near Krasnogorovka and Georgievka and to the southwest of Donetsk near Konstantinovka, Vodyanoye and Ugledar, but there is no confirmed advance.
There are no significant front changes in other parts of the front.
