The Ukrainian Airborne Assault Troops showed how the first day of the border breakthrough in the Kursk region took place. The video of the first hours of the operation was published on the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Airborne Assault Troops.
Thus, the Ukrainian military shared that they had to carry out demining, break through the border, destroy the enemy's defensive lines, with the support of aviation and artillery.
"A day that will go down in the history of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Careful preparation, planning, surprise, fighting spirit and information silence became decisive at the initial stage of the operation," the Airborne Assault Troops noted.
