Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds said that Ukraine will be sent the largest batch of drones from local manufacturers.
As he noted on the X social network (Twitter), we are talking about a record batch of 1,300 drones.
"The largest batch from Latvian manufacturers - 1,400 drones - is ready to be sent to Ukraine. This completes the purchase of more than 2,700 drones of Latvian industry for Ukraine by the Ministry of Defense," the minister wrote.
According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, in total, Latvia has already delivered 3,000 combat drones of various types and characteristics to Ukraine within the framework of the Drone Coalition.
"Together with Latvian companies, we will continue to provide support until Ukraine wins," Spruds emphasized.
