Drones Attacked the Engels Airfield, Where Tu-95s Are Based

While 11 Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers took off from the Engels airbase to launch missiles at Ukraine, Ukrainian drones attacked the base.
Although there is no information yet on the results of the drones' work, the fact of the attack was confirmed by the Governor of the Saratov Region Roman Busargin. He reported that air defense was working on drones over the region in the morning. "There are facts of debris hitting residential buildings in Saratov and Engels," the official wrote.
According to Russian media, during the repelling of the Ukrainian drone attack, one allegedly crashed into a high-rise building in neighboring Saratov, another hit the roof of a house in Engels, and its debris damaged 20 cars.
Later, Busargin added that a woman was injured as a result of a drone hitting a high-rise residential building in Saratov.
In the morning, the Russian Defense Ministry issued a statement claiming that 20 Ukrainian drones had been shot down over several regions overnight and in the morning.
