Yesterday, August 25, the aviation and missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out eight strikes on areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, four strikes on air defense systems, three on missile and artillery systems, and also hit the enemy's electronic warfare station "Zhitel". This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A third of the combat clashes over the past day occurred in the Pokrovsk direction.
In total, 146 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. At the same time, in the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 42 assault and offensive actions towards the settlements of Sukhaya Balka, Vozdvizhenka, Novoaleksandrovka, Zelenoe Pole, Mirolyubovka, Kalinovoye, Marinovka and Novogrodovka. It is noted that almost half of the enemy attacks took place in the Novogradovka area, and this settlement was also subjected to two strikes by unguided air missiles.
The General Staff notes that in the Limansky direction, the enemy attacked 21 times, trying to advance near seven different settlements, but made the main efforts in the Nevsky area, where they carried out nine assaults.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 20 attacks near Karlovka, Nevelskoye, Pervomayskoye, Georgievka, Mikhailovka and Konstantinovka.
There was also unrest in the Kupyansk direction, where in one day the enemy made 15 assaults on our positions near Petropavlovka, Sinkovka, Kolesnikovka, Glushkovka, Stelmakhovka and in the direction of Lozovaya.
According to the General Staff, in the Kramatorsk direction the occupiers attacked 13 times near Stupochki, Ivanovskoye, Andreyevka, Grigoryevka, Kleshcheyevka and, most actively, in the area of Chasovy Yar.
In the Vremovsky direction the enemy made 10 assaults on our positions near Vodyanoye, Konstantinovka and Ugledar.
In the Seversky direction the Ukrainian defenders repelled seven assaults by the Russian invaders near Spirnoye, Verkhnekamenskoye, Vyemka, Belogorovka and Ivanodaryevka.
There were the same number of attacks in the Toretsk direction, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked near Nelipovka and Toretsk.
In the Kharkov direction, the occupiers carried out four attacks in the areas of the settlements of Liptsy and Volchansk.
In the Dnieper direction, the Russian invaders attacked our positions twice. They received a tough rebuff, suffered losses and retreated. The enemy bombed the Tokarevka area with five KABs.
On the border with the Sumy region, the enemy is actively using guided aerial bombs from the territory of the Russian Federation in the areas of Ukrainian settlements. Russian KABs are also exploding in the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where the operation of our troops continues.
The General Staff notes that, according to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out two missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using four missiles, as well as 88 air strikes, in particular, dropped 142 KABs. In addition, it carried out 4,335 shellings, 121 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
