Today, August 28, a meeting of the Kyiv Defense Council was held, at which the issue of mobilization was considered to ensure the continuous and effective work of the joint mobilization centers.
The composition of the centers was clarified, in which the most qualified personnel from representatives of district state administrations, district TCCs and SPs, district departments of the National Police in Kyiv, health departments will work to coordinate and control the work of doctors included in the military medical commissions.
They also clarified the operating mode of the joint mobilization centers for conducting medical examinations and professional and psychological selection on time in order to ensure the appropriate throughput of the joint mobilization centers.
"We drew attention to the effective work of the military medical commissions to ensure round-the-clock medical examinations and guaranteed implementation of mobilization activities," the KGVA said in a statement.
Recall that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukraine has been in a state of general mobilization and martial law. In early August, their actions were extended for another 90 days - until November 9, 2024.
We also note that on May 18, 2024, a new law on mobilization in Ukraine came into force. According to the updated legislation, all Ukrainians liable for military service had to update their registration data. For this purpose, in particular, an electronic account for military service personnel was launched - the mobile application "Reserve+".
