From 7:00 to 22:00 in Kyiv, as well as in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv regions, three turns of shutdowns will be in effect simultaneously.
Due to military action and for other reasons, 568 settlements were completely or partially de-energized, including:
Chernihiv region: as a result of shelling, overhead lines were disconnected, which caused household consumers to be de-energized;
Kharkiv region: due to military action, substations and household consumers were de-energized;
Zaporizhia region: explosive objects were found during inspection of overhead power line, which were neutralized;
Dnipropetrovsk region: workers found drone debris on the territory of a substation, which were neutralized;
Mykolaiv region: damage to wires was found during inspection of overhead power line.
Recall that on August 26, Russia launched a massive attack on the energy sector of Ukraine. Facilities in 15 regions were attacked.
Due to damage to energy facilities, power outages have returned to Ukraine. Yesterday, August 28, Ukrenergo reported that schedules would be in effect in Ukraine throughout the day.
