The 918th day of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has ended. The Russian army captured a village in Kurshchyna and advanced on the eastern front, the monitoring project DeepState reports.
"The enemy captured the village of Korenevo (Kurshchyna), and also advanced in Mikhailovka, near Panteleimonovka, Peschanoye and Andreyevka. Many changes are in the verification process or there is no information for the past day," the report says.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that since the beginning of the day, August 29, 2024, as of 22:00, 156 combat clashes with the enemy have already occurred at the front.
Four combat clashes with Russian invaders occurred in the Kharkov direction. Two attacks were repelled in the Liptsy and Volchansk areas. Two more combat clashes were ongoing as of 22:00. The situation is under control.
"The estimated losses of enemy troops currently amount to 56 servicemen killed and wounded, an armored combat vehicle, ten units of automobile and a unit of special equipment were destroyed, and 34 UAVs were also destroyed. Two tanks, an armored combat vehicle and two artillery systems were damaged," the report says.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted 24 times to displace our units from their positions near Sinkovka, Myasozharovka, Stepnaya Novoselovka, Kolesnikovka and Lozovaya.
The enemy attacked 20 times in the Liman direction, tried to advance in the direction of the settlements of Tverdokhlebovo, Cherneshchina, Druzhelyubovka, Nevskoye, Torskoye and in the Serebryansky forest.
In the Seversky direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy assaults in the areas of Verkhnekamenskoye and Vyemka. As of 22:00, three combat clashes were still ongoing, the enemy is trying to break through in the direction of Zvanovka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, eight combat clashes occurred. The Russians were active in the area of Kleshchievka, Andreyevka and Chasovy Yar, however, the enemy's attempts to attack the positions of the Ukrainian troops were repelled.
In addition, the enemy tried to wedge into the Ukrainian defense in the Toretsk direction 13 times. Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers carried out assault actions near Toretsk, Zheleznoye, Nelipovka and Sukha Balka. At the time of updating the data, fighting was still ongoing near Toretsk and Dachny.
"The enemy is intensively attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk direction. Here, during the day, the aggressor carried out 40 assault and offensive actions. The greatest activity of Russian occupiers remains in the area of Vozdvizhenka, Zelenoye Pole, Mirolyubovka, Grodovka, Novogrodovka, Karlovka, Marinovka and Mykhailivka. In general, the Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 32 attacks in this direction, and another eight clashes are ongoing. The situation is difficult, but our soldiers are doing everything to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. According to currently available information, today the aggressor's losses in this direction amounted to 225 people killed and wounded. Two artillery systems, MLRS, five vehicles and a unit of special equipment were destroyed. In addition, a vehicle and one enemy gun were damaged," the General Staff said.
Meanwhile, 30 combat clashes were recorded in the Kurakhovsky direction. The invaders remain highly active, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Konstantinovka and Georgievka.
There were 14 clashes with the enemy in the Vremevsky direction. Fighting continues near Ugledar, Konstantinovka and Vodyanoye. Ukrainian defenders are in control of the situation.
"In the Orekhovsky direction, three enemy attacks were repelled by our defenders during the day near Malaya Tokmachka and Rabotino. In the Pridneprovsky direction, our soldiers once gave a tough rebuff to the Russian invaders," the report says.
