Unknown drones attacked three Russian regions and annexed Crimea at night. The drones flew as far as Kaluga, which is about 250 km from the Ukrainian border.
According to Kaluga Region Governor Vladislav Shapsha, four drones were allegedly shot down on the outskirts of the city. "This morning, four UAVs were destroyed by air defense forces on the outskirts of Kaluga," he wrote.
Astra reports that according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry, 11 drones were shot down in the Bryansk Region, two in Crimea annexed by Russia, and one in the Belgorod Region. At the same time, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that drones attacked three settlements, damaging private homes and an agricultural enterprise.
In turn, the Russian Telegram channel Mash added that two of the four drones were shot down on approach to the Kaluga International Airport.
At night, citing eyewitnesses, the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Krymsky Veter" reported explosions in the areas of Dzhankoy and Kirovsky. There is an airfield near Kirovsky.
