According to the document, payments have been extended for the next six-month period without additional application:
Persons of retirement age receiving a pension the amount of which does not exceed four subsistence minimums (9,444 hryvnia),
Persons with disabilities of group I or II, children with disabilities under 18 years of age, children with serious illnesses,
Orphans and children deprived of parental care, and persons from among them under the age of 23, in particular, those in family-type orphanages and foster families, as well as foster parents, adoptive parents and guardians (trustees).
Other applicants for an extension of payments should submit an application.
Internally displaced persons receive assistance for accommodation in the following amounts: for persons with disabilities and children - UAH 3,000; for others - UAH 2,000.
In 2024, the terms of payments were significantly tightened.
Since March 1, payments have been automatically (without additional application) extended for six months for persons who have lost their ability to work: pensioners, persons with disabilities of groups 1 and 2, seriously ill children, as well as for children who have become orphans or deprived of parental care, as well as foster parents and adoptive parents.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers clarified the list of IDPs who will be entitled to receive compensation for accommodation for another six months.
In 2023, more than 2.5 million IDPs received assistance for accommodation in the total amount of UAH 73.2 billion. In July 2024, 1.2 million internally displaced persons received compensation for accommodation in the total amount of more than UAH 2.8 billion.
