As reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram, on the night of September 10, 2024, the radio-technical troops of the Air Force detected and accompanied 48 air attack vehicles.
In particular, the Russian occupiers launched an attack with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from occupied Crimea, an Kh-31P anti-radar missile from the airspace over the Black Sea, and 46 Shahed-type attack UAVs (launch areas: Kursk, Yeysk).
The Ukrainian Defense Forces deployed aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces' electronic warfare unit to repel the enemy's air attack.
"As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 38 attack UAVs were shot down," the report says.
In addition, three drones left Ukrainian airspace, one in the direction of Russia, and two in the direction of the occupied Luhansk region. Three more enemy UAVs were lost on Ukrainian territory (they probably fell under the influence of electronic warfare).
Air defense operated in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Odessa, Kherson, Cherkasy, Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Zaporizhia and Poltava regions.
