According to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), the MP's car remained in place, but the driver lives in the apartment. According to the latter, Odarchenko has not been home since Tuesday (September 17) and has not been in touch.

According to the border guards, the MP has not officially crossed the border.

According to the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO), Odarchenko bragged on NABU recordings to the former head of the Agency for Reinstatement Mustafa Nayem that he "resolves all issues at customs, at all levels." In this regard, there is a suspicion that the MP could have used his connections to flee the country.

On his last day, Odarchenko left three of his mobile phones in the car and asked the driver to charge them in the apartment. He also told him that he would get to the Verkhovna Rada on his own and return after the meeting.

"The petition to recover the bail and change the preventive measure to a stricter one will be considered on September 23, 2024," NABU writes.

Odarchenko's case

On November 21, 2023, NABU and SAP reported Odarchenko's suspicion. According to law enforcement agencies, the MP offered Naiem a bribe in Bitcoin cryptocurrency in the amount of 50 thousand dollars in exchange for assistance in allocating funds from the fund for the elimination of the consequences of Russian aggression for the repair of the buildings of the university where he remained the rector.

On November 22, the court ordered the suspect to be held in custody with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 15 million hryvnia, however, Odarchenko quickly paid it and was released.
