In the Belgorod region, Russians are building fortifications and mining their own general and special-purpose hydraulic structures.
"This can be regarded as a "bookmark" for the future - if, for example, the situation changes dramatically and the Russians have to blow up dams to slow down the advance of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," said Vitaly Sarantsev, a representative of the operational-tactical group "Kharkov".
According to him, it can also be assumed that the Kremlin may be preparing more provocations at hydraulic structures in order to blame Ukraine.
As the speaker explained, such actions can be used by the Kremlin to mobilize the population and distract attention from domestic problems. Sarantsev added that blowing up dams could lead to large-scale flooding, inundation of populated areas and an environmental disaster.
