The K-2 battalion, part of the 54th separate mechanized brigade, showed the capture of a Russian occupier using a drone.
The battalion's Telegram channel published a video of the operation, during which the UAV operator with the call sign "Staiger" dropped drops on a Russian soldier in a shelter. The man was lucky, so he did not receive serious injuries, and after the fifth drop he decided to surrender.
"As it turned out later, after the failed assault, he sat in a hole for a week without food or water. The occupier still managed to get to the point where our infantry took him prisoner, but not without adventures. After all, the Russians willingly fired artillery at their own fighter. Perhaps the occupier has already realized how lucky he was," the report says.
The video shows that the invader emerged from his shelter and, upon noticing the Ukrainian drone, began to beg for his life. After that, the drone operator began to signal with the camera that he could surrender. He dropped the drone far from the occupier, and then returned with water and a note for him.
The Russian injected himself with painkillers and went after the drone. Along the way, he constantly took breaks to rest while his own artillery fired at him.
