India does not have a peace plan for Ukraine, but it is constantly exchanging information between Russia and Ukraine, hoping for peace. This was stated by Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, writes The Hindu.

"This is a kind of intelligence that we are doing. I mean, we don't have a peace plan," the Indian external affairs minister said.

According to him, the war between Russia and Ukraine cannot be resolved on the battlefield. At the same time, he added that the Indian government is talking to both sides "to see if there is anything it can do to expedite the end of the war and start serious talks between the two countries."

The minister said that the government is sharing conversations it has had with one side with the other.

"My sense is that both sides appreciate it," he said, adding that there are not many countries and leaders who have the desire or ability to engage with both sides.
