A teacher at one of the Kharkov universities adjusted Russian strikes on the city. The FSB informant was exposed by the Security Service of Ukraine - she was detained.
As the special service reported, the FSB recruited the woman for cooperation in the summer of this year. She walked around Kharkov and the surrounding areas and tried to find out the location of fortified areas and strongholds of the Defense Forces.
"She paid special attention to the places of the greatest concentration of personnel and heavy weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The informant also tracked the routes of military convoys in the direction of the front line," the SBU added.
After that, the agent sent the received data to her curator in an anonymous chat - she indicated the coordinates of military facilities on Google maps and added a text description to them.
"The SBU officers exposed the Russian informant in advance, documented her crimes and detained her in her own home. During the search, her mobile phone was seized with evidence of intelligence and subversive activities in favor of the Russian Federation," the statement said.
The detainee was notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the direction, movement of weapons, armament and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, movement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine). The woman is currently in custody without the right to bail. The offender faces up to 8 years in prison.
