Ukraine will receive a large batch of Caesar self-propelled artillery units from the Franco-German group KNDS, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu reported on Twitter (X).
"On the sidelines of the industrial forum in Kyiv, KNDS signed a contract for the supply of 12 Caesar self-propelled guns," the report says.
It is noted that the financing of the supplies is carried out at the expense of Ukraine.
Lecornu added that this agreement is part of efforts to increase France's defense capabilities and is aimed at supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
