Local "authorities" later confirmed the fire.

"A fire at the Feodosia oil depot. Emergencies Ministry crews are working. There are no victims or injured. Deputy Prime Minister Igor Mikhailichenko has left for Feodosia," writes "adviser to the head of Crimea" Kryuchkov, citing "head of the Feodosia administration" Igor Tkachenko.

As Astra writes, the burning oil depot is JSC "Marine Oil Terminal". It is the largest in Crimea in terms of oil product transshipment. There are two such terminals on the peninsula, the second is located in Sevastopol.

The terminal was previously attacked by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones in March 2024. Then, 4 drones fell on the territory of JSC Marine Oil Terminal. The main fuel pumping pipeline was damaged, and a fire broke out. The same oil depot was already attacked in December and November last year.

Updated 8.20. According to "Krymskiy Veter", smoke from the Feodosia oil depot rises in three "pillars", which may indicate three main sources of ignition. At the same time, channel subscribers report that before the explosions at the oil depot there was a sound similar to the sound of an airplane.

And the Russian Defense Ministry announced a night attack by drones, and, as always, "they shot everything down".

"Twenty-one Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed. Twelve UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, six UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Kursk region, and one UAV each over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Voronezh regions," the statement said.
