On the evening of October 7, a woman tried to hang a Russian tricolor in Odessa, but she was stopped by random passersby. Shortly before that, the Russians hit the port with "ballistics", killing a person.

A video from the European Square quickly spread across local Telegram channels. It shows a woman in sunglasses and sportswear, who climbed onto a pedestal where the monument to the "Founders of Odessa" once stood, the central figure of which was the Russian Empress Catherine II.

The woman unfurled the tricolor and began to cling to the surface, but she was noticed by a group of young people. People shouted, demanding that she stop, and then began throwing glasses of drinks at her. Subsequently, one of the men snatched the enemy flag from her hands.

One of the indignant women reminded her that a Russian missile had recently killed a person. She began to argue and insist that it was not Russia that launched the missiles at Odessa, but that a "hybrid war" was underway. When she was forced to take off her glasses, she said in Russian: “Akhmat is strength, Russia is power, Allahu akbar, God is one, guys.”

Some person told her: “He who has a soul and a heart does not get into this mud, there is a war going on...”. But a supporter of the Russian Federation began to argue with him. People were going to burn the tricolor, but did not do so, but simply handed it over to law enforcement officers. As reported at the regional headquarters of the National Police, the woman is already giving evidence.
